En 2011, dans le dossier de candidature, la densité et la qualité globale des transports franciliens avaient d’ailleurs été promues comme des atouts essentiels face à des adversaires dont les sites étaient plus perdus dans la nature ». Car le message de l’organisation de la Ryder Cup 2018 est clair privilégier les transports en commun plutôt que la voiture, même si trois parkings relais 40 € par jour de compétition, situés à quelques kilomètres de l’Albatros – Orsay 91, Versailles-Satory et Louveciennes 78 –, seront proposés avec, là aussi, des navettes gratuites. Sachez que des aires de stationnement pour les deux roues seront installés dans les parkings relais de Versailles-Satory et de Toussus-le-Noble, ce dernier étant sinon réservé au staff et aux hospitalités. Il sera également possible de se faire déposer en taxi dans les deux parkings-relais précédemment mentionnés. Car attention, il n’y aura aucun accès piéton possible aux abords du Golf National. Il faudra obligatoire passer par les parkings-relais ou par les gares de transport en commun. Ainsi, parallèlement aux billets de transport habituels, un pass de voyage SNCF-RATP d’une semaine, valable du 24 au 30 septembre 2018, au tarif de 40 €, permettra de se déplacer par train, métro ou bus dans toutes les zones tarifaires du réseau francilien, y compris vers et depuis les aéroports d’Orly et Charles de Gaulle, et les gares TGV. Vendu uniquement sur le site de la Ryder Cup, ce pass incluera tous les trains à destination et en provenance des gares de Saint-Quentin et Massy. D’une manière ou d’une autre, tous les chemins mèneront au Golf National.
